Notes:
Tesha means survivor in Hindi, so named because she survived two events, one was a mother who did not produce enough milk and the other was a bad bag of feed. All my rabbits got ill from the bag feed to varying degrees, but my only losses were some of Tesha's siblings. The entire kindle was very friendly, but Tesha seemed to connect with me the most while I was hand feeding and treating her.
Tesha is still one to run up to the door so that I cannot even open it, as it opens inward. She loves being petted and licks me. She loves being a mother and produces plenty of milk.
Her sire was purchased from Hare+Feather and granded under my rabbitry, but I sold him back to them because of the meat shortages. Her dam was a trade for a breeding with Leon, hence her name Leona. Unfortunately, Leona was not a good mother, produced little milk, and stopped eating. Although I was able to get her back to good health, I decided to keep Tesha from her and cull Leona from my program. Tesha had the solid muscular body I was wanting for my program, she added some genetic diversity, and it turn out that she was a good mother also.
